New patients

Your First Visit, Step by Step.

No pressure, no mystery. Here's exactly what happens when you come in.

Your first visit

What to expect

  1. 1

    Before you arrive

Complete your intake forms ahead of time so your visit starts with a conversation, not a clipboard.

  2. 2

    Consultation

Dr. Fox listens to what's going on, how long it's been there, and what you want to get back to.

  3. 3

    Exam

A hands-on movement exam finds what's limiting you. Imaging is only ordered if it would change your care.

  4. 4

    Plan and first treatment

You'll hear what we found, what we recommend, and roughly how long it should take. Most people receive care on the first visit.

What to bring

  • A photo ID and your insurance card, if you have one
  • A list of current medications and past injuries or surgeries
  • Comfortable clothes you can move in
  • Any recent imaging reports, if you have them

New patient forms

Intake forms will be available here once the clinic finalizes them. Arriving with forms completed saves about fifteen minutes.

Common questions

First-Visit Questions

How long is the first visit?

Plan on about 45 to 60 minutes. Follow-up visits are usually shorter.

Will I be adjusted on the first visit?

Often, yes. If the exam supports it and you're comfortable, care begins the same day. If something needs a closer look first, we'll tell you why.

Do I need a referral?

No referral is needed to see a chiropractor in Virginia. If your insurance plan requires one for coverage, we'll help you sort that out.

Care for real life

Health Should Be Accessible

Use this section for insurance, membership plans, transparent self-pay options, or a new-patient offer. The current copy is intentionally generic so the clinic can wire in its real policies.
